  • Therapy might be right for you if you feel stuck, overwhelmed, easily triggered, or weighed down by anxiety, guilt, or old patterns you can’t seem to break. You don’t have to be in crisis to start — many people come to therapy simply because they want to feel more grounded, more connected in their relationships, or more like themselves again. If something in you is saying, “I can’t keep doing it this way,” that’s often reason enough to reach out.

  • I combine trauma-informed therapy with brain-body approaches to help you heal at the root, not just manage symptoms.

  • Traditional talk therapy often focuses on insight, problem-solving, and changing thought patterns. Trauma therapy goes deeper by working with the nervous system and the parts of the brain where traumatic experiences are stored. Instead of only understanding why you feel the way you do, trauma therapy helps your body process and release stuck survival responses like fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown. The goal isn’t just coping better — it’s helping you feel safer, more regulated, and less triggered from the inside out.

  • Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that helps process trauma and emotional wounds at a deeper level than traditional talk therapy. It works by identifying specific eye positions (“brainspots”) that connect to where distress is stored in the brain and nervous system. By gently focusing on these spots in a safe, supportive space, your brain can process and release stuck experiences — often without needing to retell every detail. Many clients find it helps reduce triggers, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm while increasing a sense of calm and connection.
